Etsy Twitter Team Shop of the Week - Jusshar

I'm back to featuring some of my fellow designers on the Etsy Twitter Team! This week's shop is Jusshar!! Beth has been a great friend to me for YEARS....I'm not even sure when or where we met online...but she has helped me so much and I'm proud to call her a friend! She is one of my regular crochet pattern testers too! I'm so happy to feature her today!!

Break Time

Hey guys!! I wanted to let you all know that I am going to be taking a break for a while. I need to take some time to focus on my family and myself. I will still be selling my patterns, but I won't be listing anything new for a while or taking any custom orders. If you would like something made from one of my patterns, please contact me and I will be happy to give you the name of some crocheters who would be happy to help you!

I do have a few more patterns in the works. A couple of new Portrait Series items and a few scheduled for publication in magazines later this year. I'll get them out when time allows.

For now, I am planning on learning a few new crochet techniques and making some items for myself and my family. Since I've lost some weight, I need new clothes!!! LOL! I have some sewn projects planned along with some crochet and knit ones.



SO, what's first??? Well, I just started a knit Fitted Top for me in Naturally Caron Spa yarn in Misty Taupe. I'll be sure to share pictures as I finish each project!

Playing with Sticks!

Yes...me...I admit it! I've been playing with sticks again!! But I can still only knit in a square or rectangle! LOL!! I wanted to try out a new stitch pattern I saw, so I just grabbed something from my stash!! Little did I know what that bright orange yarn would inspire me to do!!

I think the yarn was leftover from something Denver Broncos related...and since I didn't have very much of it...it ended up being a pretty little neck warmer. The color just screamed "Halloween" to me! So to finish it off, I crocheted a wonderful and LARGE rose in dark purple, black, and metallic silver thread! ANd then, while at my local yarn store, I happened to find the perfect finishing touch! A small spider on a web button! Too cute!

I've Been Knitting!

OK, I admit it....I've been knitting. Well, practicing is more like it. I think I did a really good job on this basketweave baby blanket! I think I may donate it to my charity group. Or maybe give it to a friend of mine who is having a baby girl soon. We'll see.

But now, after this blanket and all the dish clothes I've made...I can say that I can definitely knit a square!!! Now, to tackle knitting in the round! LOL!!

Fuzzy Wuzzy

So I decided to pick up my knitting needles last night!! I had this one skein of Bernat Alpaca in Indigo and thought it would make a nice scarf for the Challenge. Little did I know that I would be covered in little fuzzies! LOL!! But ohhhhhh!!!!! it is so soft!
