I've been following this fun tagging game all around the crochet blog world. I've learned a lot about a bunch of different people that I admire!! So, since Kim couldn't think of anyone to tag....I tagged myself for her, LOL!!

What was I doing ten years ago?

I was married to my ex-husband, broke, and mountain-biking A LOT! Not to mention hating every minute of it! He was really into all the mountain biking....and spending all my money that I was making working for the post office...and like the good wife, I just went along with it! GGrrrrrr!!! What was I thinking!?!?!?! We would soon divorce in 1999.

Five things on my non-work to do list today:

1~wash the sheets

2~walk to the grocery store

3~paint Heather's nails....I promised!

4~make dinner

5~ummmm...welllll.....can't really think of anything else. It is either work related or I just don't have anything to do today, LOL!

Snacks I enjoy (in no particular order):

~rice crispie treats...prepackaged

~cheesecake

~french vanilla moolatte from DQ

~just about anything from starbucks!

Things I would do if I was a billionaire:

~Move my mom closer to me so I can see her more than once a year!

~Move dh's parents closer too.

~Help my little sis get back on her feet and out of all the "bad choices" she has made in her life

~buy lots of stuff, LOL!!

Pretty Toes!

I had taken this picture a few weeks ago because I wanted to blog about my pretty toes, then forgot all about it! LOL!!

Well, one of my cloesest friends is in Beauty School and is now available to work on customers! So I went in and had a relaxing morning of a manicure, pedicure, and catching up with my friend! I let her do whatever she wanted to my toes, so she choose this dark purple color and accented the big toes with a little silver flower. So pretty! Just wish the weather was warmer so that I could show them off!

From my family to yours!

Thought I would list a few things I am thankful for this year.

1. My family. Even thought most of them are far away, they have made me who I am today and for them I am greatful.

2. GOD. I am thankful that he is forgiving and loves me just the way I am.

3. My Friends. Like I said in #1, my family is far away, so my friends tend to take their place.

4. My husband. For showing me what love is really supposed to be like.

5. Yarn.......need I go into detail here, LOL!!

A collaboration of friends

A long time ago, when I started out in the ebay boutique community, I belonged to a group called the Sorority. Well, needless to say, we didn't last long. But I did make some awesome friends from that adventure.

One of my favorites is Terri of sew*divine. She was recently invited to join an awesome launch with the group Persnickety called Camden Market. Although I was not invited to this launch, she wanted to collaborate on an outfit with me. She was even able to get me an invite for this special occasion. I was truely honored.

So together we came up with this amazing set design. I am offering BOTH of our designs in this one auction HERE. Well worth the look....even if it is just to look at that little cutie-pie of hers!

1. I married my high school sweetheart at age 20. We were married 5 years before we got divorced.

2. My wonderful (second) husband was an usher in my first wedding..........

3. I am definately a daddy's girl. Unfortunately my dad passed away 10 years ago....today.

4. I competed in Miss Majorette of Pennsylvania and the Beaver County Regatta Queen pageants.

5. I have one grandparent that is still alive, my father's mother, and I don't even know her name. I believe she lives in Florida.

6. My quirk for dealing with bad/frustrating situations is to vent and complain for a while, then suck it up and move on, LOL!!

7. I am happy to announce that I have lost 20 lbs in the past 6 months!! (and 5" in my waist!!!)
