The New BooBoo

Well, we've been having a difficult time teaching Heather about doggie etiquette with Mr. Cash. She doesn't understand that doggies don't think like people do! She wants to constantly hug him and kiss him and get in his face. Well, it finally happened yesterday. He snapped at her and managed to catch a little skin. He didn't break the skin, but did scrape her pretty good and gave her a nice shiner!

The scariest part for me was how close this booboo is to her eye!! I was upset...understandably! And really wasn't in the mood for the "talk" I got from my husband when he got home from work.

So now we are starting a few new practices in our house. Heather is now in charge of giving Cash his breakfast and dinner plus all "cookies". Maybe if he thinks of her as his food source he will be more gentle with her. But it really isn't his fault...she did scare him while he was sleeeping! Let's not hope it happens again......

Oh, yowch! I was bit on the face when I was about 5 on the cheek and still have the scar- everyone assumes it's a dimple!

It's very scary what loved pets can do to children. If we ever meet in person, remind me to show you the scar on my eye from a cat.

I'm glad she's OK.

Oh I understand about dogs and children. We have two pugs one is 3 years old and then I got a new puppy for my bday last April. We also have a 5 year old granddaughter and 1 year old grandson. Grandson spends most of his time in the playpen cause the puppy wants to jump up and lick him on the face and he gets scratched sometimes.
