Welcome!

Hi and welcome to my lonely old blog! I've been such a busy bee lately that it doesn't get as much attention as it should, but I am so happy that you are here to join me on A Tour Through Crochet Country Blog Tour! And hopefully you won't be disappointed that you stopped by!

First, let me say that I am honored to be among the amazing designers chosen for this tour. It really means a lot to me to be considered among them. One of the best things I've ever done for my crocheting career is join the CGOA Professional Program! I had the most amazing mentor (Hi! Miss Dee!) and learned a lot of valuable information that I have been happy to pass on to my mentee. Plus, some of you may know me from the book reviews that I write for the CGOA Newsletter and Blog.

Please remember that the blog tour is promoting Project Night Night, a wonderful charity organization supplying blankets for the needy. I hope you find it in your heart to donate to them. I am always happy to donate to charities and you'll find some links to various ones that I support over on the right hand side of my blog.

Now, for the reason you are all here.....a FREE CROCHET PATTERN! And guess what? It's a small blanket pattern perfect for donating to our worthy charity! (BTW, I'll be donating the one created for the pattern...along with a few others I have lying around....to Project Night Night!)

This pattern features a ripple stitch and puff stitches. It's made from bulky yarn and uses a large hook. So just like the name implies, it is Speedy Quick to crochet! I bet you can have one made in a weekend!

Also, while you are here, check out the tab at the top of the page to see what other free crochet patterns I offer. And, as a bonus, all month long you can take 25% off ANY purchase in my Etsy or Ravelry shops by using code NATCROMO25

OK, that's enough rambling for me! Be sure to stop by the other blog tour host today, Annette Stewart, and see what she has to say. Don't forget to download your free pattern here!

Thanks, Jennifer! I have admired this afghan for a while on Pinterest. It was on my 'to do' list. But I didn't realize it was done in chunky yarn! Fabulous!
