The Trip!

A camping we will go!

The family is heading out to Ouray, Colorado today for a weekend camping trip! YAY!! This should be so much fun.......But I have so much to do this morning before we leave!!

Heather and I will be heading up this afternoon. We need to rent a campsite and pick up the Jeep we will be renting. And I think we'll also hit the hot springs pool! Then first thing tomorrow morning we are heading up into the mountains! This will be Heather's first time in a jeep and going over a mountain pass!! I'm so excited to take her! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!!

Yarn Gifts!

Oh my!!!! So I joined my first crochet swap over on Crochetteville and got paired up with a wonderful woman name Robyn. We had lots of fun getting to know each other through emails and then we got to send each other "gifts"! The gifts had to consist of at least $25 worth of yarns in a cotton/cotton blend.

Wellllllllll.....I got mine yesterday!!! First, how wonderful it was to get a gift in the mail!!! Totally made me feel like a princess!! Then when I opened it up, I was floored!!! Miss Robyn went WAY OVERBOARD!!!! Let me tell you what she sent!!

Australian crochet??

Ok....so my adorable beanie collection crochet patterns have caused a wonderful woman in Australia to pick up her hooks again after 20 years!!! How exciting!!! And I told her that I would be happy to help her as much as I can. But......I am not familiar with "how" they crochet in Australia. I know that in England they use a lot of different terms, but what about Australia?? DO they use US or English terms?? Or something all together different?? I'm stumped.....but it appears that through lots of emails that she is getting the hang of it! YAY!!!

It's here....It's here!!!! My check finally came from Leisure Arts!! I have "officially" sold my patterns to a publishing company!!!! Whooo hoooo!!!!

Now to sit back and patiently wait for it to be published! LOL!!
