Friday Weigh In - Week 4

Sorry I'm a day late! But it was a good week for weight loss! I managed to loose another 1.8lbs to bring my total to 6 lbs!! I'm about half way to my goal in only 4 weeks!

It was also a measurement week, so in 2 weeks I have lost another 3/4" in my hips, 1" in my thighs, and 1/4" in my bicep! I'm Happy!

Oh, and did I mention that my new size 12 jeans are starting to get a little loose on me??? Hehehehe!!

I LOVE Vintage!

I'm not sure what it is, but I love vintage items! Jewelry and clothing especially! My husband knows that whenever he is watching Antiques Road Show on PBS, that is an amazing piece of vintage shows up, he needs to call me in there immediately! LOL!! So lately I've been doing a little "shopping" on etsy....here are some of my favorites!

MyFitnessPal - Free Calorie Counter

Well, I managed to loose 1.6 lbs this week for a total of 4.2 lbs! I really close to my next goal...when I hit below 155 I will get my hair done!

I've adjusted my diet again...this time I am trying a little more calories...1350. I had such a hard time staying under 1200 and I seemed to do a little better with the added leeway. I also boosted my exercising again...shooting for about 40 minutes each time I work out with the Wii Active. I really like the workouts...but some of the lunges really kill my knees. I usually have to adjust those ones. Plus I've been working a lot more on my arms....anticipation of tank top weather!!!

I only take my measurements every other week, so nothing to report this week. But boy, do I feel smaller! Even when shaving my legs I look down and am amazed and the difference in size!! Puts a huge smile on my face!!

Friday Weigh In - 2

Well, this week I didn't loose any weight....BUT, I did loose inches!! One whole inch on my waist and 1/2 inch on my hips!! I don't think my waist has been this tiny in 10 years! LOL!!

This week I made a slight change....I dropped my calorie intake. It was set at 1500, but I dropped down. I tried to keep it between 1200-1300. Didn't do too bad....most of the time I made it.

I also tried something new this week. I set myself a goal and reward. My goal was to burn AT LEAST 150 calories each time I worked out on the Wii Active. My reward was a bottle of sweet smelling body lotion! LOL!! Today I succeeded in achieving my goal, so I just ordered a custom made bottle of Cherry Blossom and Almond Body Lotion from Sinfully Soy Candles on Etsy....be sure to check out her shop...everything looks wonderful!



So, now I need help with a new goal and reward for next week! Any suggestions???

Way Back Week

Over on Facebook, my friends and I are celebrating Way Back Week. We are all posting old pictures of ourselves and it is so much fun! I love seeing my old friends the way I remember them!! I just wish I had a scanner so that I could scan some old pics of myself. Right now I am relying on my friends that still have pictures of me to scan them.

Right now I have two. A few friends said they are working on more for me, LOL!! I thought I had a really old pic of myself and my mom on my computer, but I can not find it anywhere.

I think this photo is from 9th grade...that would be 1989/90.

SO, every Friday I will jump on my scale and give you all an update on my weight loss progress. I did pretty good this week!

MyFitnessPal - Free Calorie Counter

I completed two days of the 30-Day Challenge on my Wii Active and am a little sore today, but that happens! I've been doing really good at staying around 1500 calories a day too! I've been fighting headaches again, but that seems to happen whenever I change my eating habits. Hopefully they will ease up within the next week. Also, my tummy was making some of the strangest noises yesterday! LOL!!! Let's see if i can do it again next week!!!

That Time of Year Again

Just like most of you, I too am trying to get healthy in 2010! I would love to loose 10-15 more pounds and fit into some new size 12 jeans!!

One of the things I am doing is counting my calories and writing down everything I stick in my mouth! This time I am using My Fitness Pal. You can see my profile here! If you join up, it's FREE, be sure to add me as a friend! I can use all the motivation and friends I can get!

I've also ordered the new Wii Active. Since it is too cold to walk like I normally do, I needed to find something else to do to burn those calories.
